New Orleans City Council report, 1835.

Pamphlet entitled "Report of a Conspiracy to Incite a Rebellion Throughout the Slave States" discusses the dangers presented by local abolitionists in the South. A plot to steal slaves and incite a slave rebellion throughout the South is revealed and the leader is said to be John A. Murel of Tennessee.
